OPEN- Vice President of Operations
DESCRIPTION- Performs duties of the President in his/ her absence; Oversees Events and Activities; Partners with the President in fulfilling duties; assists VP of Membership with Membership Drive and organization of volunteers; assists VP of Fundraising with setting up and executing fundraisers; oversees events and activities .
ALL EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS
In addition to the above duties, executive board members are required to attend the monthly board meetings and are encouraged to attend other meetings as they come up. The executive board works as a group. Board members should be willing to assist others to make sure that projects get completed and that events are well executed. It is also recommended that board members attend a training session or view a training video that pertains to his or her job. The Illinois PTA offers training specific to each position, as well as trainings about fundraising, Givebacks , grant writing, and so much more!
