We celebrated our 5th Grade Girls Basketball Team today on their district championship with an all school assembly. Congratulations!
Our PTA purchased a basketball for each homeroom as a behavior incentive for the month of March. Our March Madness competition looked for students who were showing "perseverance".
Our PTA purchased a few games/items for each homeroom for their "unstructured learning time". These games help develop executive functioning and will be played daily by students. THANK YOU for your generosity, PTA!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the PTA McTeacher's Night! This fundraiser helps events such as Winter Fest, Movie Night, Kindergarten Graduation, and more! They also purchase items for the school such as recess equipment. The money always goes back to the students.

Yesterday, was Read Across America Day! Research shows that daily reading is so important for kids and yesterday we had extra fun! Staff, Admin, and even a teacher's Dad came to read to students. Great day!

K-3 students watched a "Land of Smiles" presentation today. Students learned the importance of dental care including brushing, flossing, and reducing sugary foods!

Congratulations to our Lieb 5th Grade Boys Basketball on a great season. Our team worked so hard and grew so much since they started. We have many positive memories and are excited for these students and the opportunities that await them at Simmons next year!
We have the best PTA, community, and family members! Thank you all for spoiling the staff today with crockpots full of warm food, desserts, snacks, and drinks! Our staff felt very spoiled and loved!
