A little dance moves from our kindergarteners as they count by 5’s!

More fun activities from the week before Spring Break!

We had a lot of mysterious things happen this week at Lieb! Someone (or something) planted coins on our playground. Kindergarten & 1st ran around trying to find a coin & had a blast! Some kids found more than one & shared with others, because this week's theme was KINDNESS!

Congratulations to our Lieb Family on tonight's District PTA Volleyball Game! RSD 122 knows how to have fun!

Congratulations to students and staff for 2 wins tonight and the School Spirit Award! We have such a great Lieb Family!

Just a snapshot of award winners for trimester 2. Lots of accomplishments in the second trimester for students in all grades. Finish strong Lieb Eagles!

Thanks to all the parents who brought students out in the rain to watch the district volleyball game. 2 wins and most importantly the School Spirit Award! Thanks PTA for organizing this event!

Students really enjoyed the weather this week. Ms. Wrobel took her kids outside for some math practice and Mrs. Kenis took classes outside for an extra recess, to let off some much needed steam!

Online ESL Classes for parents available starting March 28th.

4th Grade finished their book club with life sized characters from the story, "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing"!

Our first grade teachers (Ms. Smith, Ms. Denton, and Ms. Cockrell) and their students made ice cream today! This activity was a fun way to end Unit 3! They learned how food is made. What a treat!

Ms. Pfiffner and Ms. Queenan's class worked hard together to trace their friends so that students can measure themselves. Looks so fun!

Yesterday, Mr. Kooyman’s class went outside for science! 4th grade students were studying magnetism with real life scenarios!

Today, we celebrated Character Book Day as the end of our Read Across America Week. So many kids dressed up and we look forward to including those pictures in our yearbook!

The weather is getting nicer and students sometimes get the wiggles! Ms. Hasan does a great job getting creative and allowing her students to use flexible seating to keep them engaged!

Lieb School works hard to teach kids the value of money! We know so much is done through credit cards, so we put extra emphasis on coins and dollars. Ms. Blake worked on money with some of her kids this week!

Our PE teachers, Ms. Dykema and Ms. Reed do some awesome things with our students. Even though on our snow day, the kids couldn't physically be in the gym, they worked out at home and in 3rd grade (as seen here) worked on math during PE! Cross-curricular teaching for the win!

Although National School Security Officer was last week, we wanted to take a min to give a big thank you to Officer Bill! He keeps the school safe & is a superb role model for our students. (... & check-out the birdhouse he made for our Kinder classes in the front of Lieb!)

TWOsday Celebration continued... Tutus, Tie-dye, and Ties! 2-22-22

Today we celebrated TWOSDAY, 2-22-22 on a Tuesday! 2-22-22 is a palindrome & an ambigram. It can be read the same left to right, R to L, & upside down (in a digital format). Students celebrated by wearing tie-dye, tutus, & ties. We also had a 2 min dance party (YMCA) at 2:22 pm!
