Our PE teachers, Ms. Dykema and Ms. Reed do some awesome things with our students. Even though on our snow day, the kids couldn't physically be in the gym, they worked out at home and in 3rd grade (as seen here) worked on math during PE! Cross-curricular teaching for the win!
Although National School Security Officer was last week, we wanted to take a min to give a big thank you to Officer Bill! He keeps the school safe & is a superb role model for our students. (... & check-out the birdhouse he made for our Kinder classes in the front of Lieb!)

TWOsday Celebration continued... Tutus, Tie-dye, and Ties! 2-22-22

Today we celebrated TWOSDAY, 2-22-22 on a Tuesday! 2-22-22 is a palindrome & an ambigram. It can be read the same left to right, R to L, & upside down (in a digital format). Students celebrated by wearing tie-dye, tutus, & ties. We also had a 2 min dance party (YMCA) at 2:22 pm!

Teachers nominated students for being Safe, Responsible, and Respectful this Winter. Students received a "WONDERful Snowflake" for showing wonderful behavior. Congratulations to these students! (Post 2 of 2).

E-Learning Day - Thursday, February 17, 2022

3rd Grade Students are working hard to build positive mindsets! It's easy to get down when the weather is cold and snowy! 3rd graders spent time filling their "gratitude jars" with things they are thankful for. Did you know gratitude practices can increase "well-being" by 10%?

100th Day of School fun!
Throwback Tuesday: Here are a few pictures of some of our staff and students who celebrated the 100th day of school! Who are all these old people?!?!?!

Ms. Smith's 1st grade class wrote lengthy procedures on how to correctly brush their teeth! They included things such as putting toothpaste "in the sink" and putting all materials (toothbrush/toothpaste) away when they are done. Students were detailed so no mistakes are made.

One more BIG thank you! Thank you for making our SOUPer Bowl so special. It was neat to see so many personal touches: food ingredients and even some food from family stores/restaurants. Thank you for showing your appreciation. We are so lucky to spend the day with your kids.

THANK YOU!!! To say our community is amazing is a total understatement. Your donations and your overall showing of appreciation made our staff feel so loved! The energy in the building was so high today. Thanks for helping make this SOUPer Bowl for the staff AMAZING!

Lieb families,
Our staff cannot thank you enough for the delicious Souper Bowl luncheon today. Wow, you went all out and the staff was so happy! Everything was delicious! Lieb PTA, thanks for setting up this fabulous treat to put smiles on our faces!

Emergency Day - Wednesday, February 2nd

Ms. Smith's 1st grade class and Ms. O'Neill's 2nd grade class are doing a fun writing activity! They are introducing the "writing process" with the analogy of making a sandwich. The kids are having a blast!

Ms. Masoud knows how to have fun with her class! She has a great sense of humor and we appreciate her willingness to accommodate to student needs as they are constantly changing.

Ms. Garoufalis and Ms. Wyatt began social media and internet safety in the 5th grade today. Our school Social Worker and our Instructional Technology Teacher will be visiting 5th grade classrooms to talk about safe internet usage and social media.
