Congratulations to our 5th grade girls' basketball team who won 1st place this year at our district tournament.

Yesterday, was character day! We enjoyed so many fun outfits from students and staff!

Yesterday, a student from Prairie State University presented on dental hygiene to our 3rd grade students. We love partnering with nearby universities to support our next generation of teachers (and clean teeth!)

There are all sorts of amazing prizes to pass out to students that have been exemplifying being safe, respectful, & responsible!!! They also purchased Basketballs for our March Madness giveaway! Thank you Lieb PTA!!!

Congratulations Lieb staff on winning both volleyball games last night at the District Volleyball tournament! Extra special thanks to our fans who came out to cheer on the teachers!

⭐CONGRATULATIONS⭐ to our 5th Grade Girls Basketball Team on bringing the trophy back home to Lieb School!!! 🏆🏀
The final score was 7-5 against Columbus Manor.

Celebrating great behavior with some ice cream at Lieb! These students received positive office referrals from their teachers!

Ms. Saldivar's 2nd grade students worked on researching animals and their environments! The students' dioramas will be voted on next week by the 2nd grade class. These are displayed in our library for all students to see!

Today, students watched a Skydome show (courtesy of our PTA and a donation on behalf of the Bowden family, a former Lieb teacher)! A BIG thank you for their generosity!

Ms. Litchfield was working with Kindergarten on various social skills. Students were using "I feel" statements in pairs before they started playing Candy Land. This practice helped any conflict resolution while playing the game. Board games are a GREAT way to practice social skills and develop executive functioning (example: organization, regulating emotions, attention, impulse control).

Lieb 4th grade students were working on different musical concepts on mallet instruments. The students sounded great!
Does your 4th/5th grade child love music? We have a few more spots left in our choir club! First come, first served so register your child, today!

Ms. Kulig is visiting Lieb Kindergarten and 1st grade classes this week to talk about KYHFOOTY (Keep your hands, feet, and other objects to yourself) and providing Calming Strategies (deep breaths, relax body, etc.)

Thank you, Delta Dental for your Land of Smiles show! The Lieb students learned all about how to keep their teeth healthy. Happy brushing and flossing!!! @DeltaDentalIL
