Notice of Public Hearing: District 122 E-Learning Program

The Board of Education of Ridgeland School District 122 will hold a public hearing on May 19th 2022 at 6:30pm, in Harnew Elementary School located at 9101 S. Meade Avenue Oak Lawn 60453. The purpose of said hearing will be to receive public comment on the proposed E-Learning Program which, if approved, will allow students’ instruction to be received electronically while students are not physically present in lieu of the district’s scheduled emergency days. The proposed plan for the E-Learning Program for Ridgeland School District will be available for public inspection from May 3, 2022 to May 19, 2022.
This program is allowed under Section 10-20.56 of the School Code [105 ILCS 5/10-20.56]. Notification of this hearing is provided to all families and is posted in the newspaper more than 10 days prior to the scheduled Public Hearing.
If approved the E-Learning Program will be implemented for a term of 3 years.
